Vivian is a second-generation Toishanese-Cantonese from Tiohtià:ke/Montréal with a background in graphic design. Paper and Rice Co. was started because of a childhood hobby/passion and wanting to add some diversity to the card market and to bring joy, nostalgia and cultural connection to people of similar experience and background as her. In essence, to create cards and prints she wanted to buy when she was younger.
